JOB DESCRIPTION - SENIOR SALES ENGINEER

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer based in Kolkata to drive business development and sales of industrial pumping solutions across the assigned territory. The role requires strong technical sales, customer handling, project development, and order conversion skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.
- Generate new business through customer visits, project leads, references, and market development.
- Develop relationships with EPCs, contractors, consultants, industries, infrastructure companies, dealers, and end users.
- Identify upcoming projects and convert enquiries into orders.
- Understand customer applications and recommend the right pump and dewatering solutions.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, technical proposals, and techno-commercial offers.
- Handle technical discussions, negotiations, and order closure.




- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and regular sales forecasts.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Service, Production, Logistics, and Finance for smooth order execution.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing, and current opportunities.
- Ensure timely payment collection and manage customer outstanding.
- Maintain accurate CRM/MIS and sales reports.
- Travel across the assigned territory as required.

Qualification & Experience
- BE/B.Tech/Diploma Mechanical preferred.
- 36 years of experience in technical/industrial sales.
- Experience in pumps, fluid handling, rotating equipment, industrial equipment, construction equipment, or engineering products preferred.
