Job Summary

Responsible for accurate and timely typing, formatting, verification, and dispatch of radiology reports while maintaining patient confidentiality and coordination with radiologists and diagnostic departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Type and prepare reports for X-Ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, and other radiology investigations as dictated by radiologists.
- Accurately enter patient details, investigation findings, impressions, and report observations.
- Proofread reports for spelling, medical terminology, formatting, and data accuracy.
- Coordinate with radiologists for report corrections, clarifications, and finalization.
- Ensure timely completion and dispatch of radiology reports to patients, doctors, and concerned departments.
- Maintain proper records of reports and pending cases.
- Handle report printing, scanning, uploading,



and electronic dispatch as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with hospital policies.
- Coordinate with front office, billing, medical records, and other diagnostic departments when required.
- Ensure proper use of RIS/PACS/Hospital Information System (HIS) and other reporting systems.
- Follow hospital quality, documentation, and patient-safety standards.

Qualification
- Any Graduate / Diploma in relevant field.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and radiology terminology preferred.
- Positive typing speed and accuracy.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office.
