Job Summary

The Sales Head - General Trade will be responsible for leading the General Trade (GT) business, driving revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability across assigned territories. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies, strengthening distributor networks, enhancing market penetration, and leading high-performing sales teams to achieve organizational goals.

The incumbent will play a key role in building sustainable business growth through effective sales planning, channel management,



distribution excellence, and solid stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Growth
- Develop and execute the General Trade sales strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Drive revenue, volume, market share, and profitability targets across regions and channels.
- Identify growth opportunities and develop plans to expand market presence.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and customer insights to drive business decisions.
Channel & Distribution Management
- Strengthen and expand the distribution network to improve market coverage and reach.
- Ensure efficient distributor appointment, management, and performance evaluation.
- Drive distribution effectiveness, outlet coverage, and availability of products across markets.
- Establish systems and processes to improve execution standards within the GT channel.
