Job Summary
We are looking for a Design Engineer with hands-on experience in Creo Parametric and a basic understanding of plastic component design. The candidate will be responsible for 3D modeling, 2D drawings, design modifications, and supporting product development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify 3D models using Creo Parametric.
- Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings.
- Support product design and development activities.
- Apply basic GD&T;, tolerances, and engineering standards.
- Make design modifications and improvements under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Coordinate with production and other departments for design-related requirements.
- Support prototype development and resolve basic design/manufacturing issues.
Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in mechanical/product design.
- Hands-on experience with Creo Parametric is mandatory.
- Experience or exposure to plastic components, switches, panels, or automotive components will be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering drawings.
- Understanding of GD&T; and engineering tolerances.
- Positive communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Candidate
- Candidates with experience in plastic product/component design.
- Candidates who can understand manufacturing requirements and make practical design modifications.
- Immediate joiners / short notice candidates preferred.
