DISPATCH SUPERVISOR – COMPANY POLICY

1. Position

Designation: Dispatch Supervisor

Location: Solapur, Maharashtra

2. Working Hours & Shift

* The dispatch department may operate in Day & Night Shifts depending on business and dispatch requirements.

* The Dispatch Supervisor may be assigned to either shift as required by management.

* Shift timings will be decided by management according to dispatch schedules.

* 2 Sundays per month will be working days.

* The remaining Sundays will be weekly offs, subject to business requirements.

3. Accommodation

* The employee is required to stay in Solapur during employment.

* The company will provide accommodation/room.

* Food expenses will be borne by the employee.

4. Probation Period

* Probation period: 3 months.

* Confirmation will depend on performance, discipline, responsibility, and suitability for the position.

5. Key Responsibilities

The Dispatch Supervisor will be responsible for:

* Planning and supervising daily dispatch activities

* Preparing dispatch schedules according to customer requirements





* Ensuring correct quantity and material is dispatched

* Verifying material against invoices, packing lists, and dispatch documents

* Coordinating with Production, Quality, Stores, Sales, and Accounts departments

* Ensuring proper packing, loading, and handling of materials

* Supervising loading and unloading activities

* Checking vehicle availability and coordinating with transporters

* Ensuring vehicles are loaded safely and on time

* Maintaining dispatch records and documentation

* Preparing daily dispatch reports

* Tracking dispatched materials until delivery

* Reporting shortages, damages, delays, or discrepancies to management

* Ensuring proper housekeeping and safety in the dispatch area

6. Performance Parameters

Performance will be evaluated based on:

* On-time dispatch

* Dispatch accuracy

* Zero/low material shortage or mismatch

* Proper documentation
