Job Purpose

To assist in managing the Quality Control function by ensuring consistent quality of raw materials, clinker, and cement through effective monitoring, testing, process control, and compliance with internal standards and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control & Testing
- Monitor and control quality of raw materials, clinker, cement, and additives
- Ensure testing as per IS / ASTM / EN standards
- Review and analyze chemical and physical test results
- Identify deviations and recommend corrective and preventive actions

Process & Production Support
- Coordinate with production, mines, and maintenance teams for process stability
- Monitor key quality parameters (LSF, SM, AM, free lime, residue, strength)
- Support optimization of kiln and grinding operations

Laboratory Operations




- Oversee daily operations of the quality control laboratory
- Ensure proper sampling, testing procedures, and equipment calibration
- Supervise lab chemists and technicians

Systems, Audits & Compliance
- Maintain documentation for ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 systems
- Assist in internal, external, and customer audits
- Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, and safety requirements

Customer Quality & Complaints
- Support investigation and resolution of customer complaints
- Coordinate with dispatch and sales teams on quality-related issues

Continuous Improvement
- Participate in quality improvement and cost optimization initiatives
- Support trials for recent raw materials, fuels, and cement grades
- Implement best practices and standardization across QC processes
