Job Title: Purchase Executive

Reports To: Purchase Manager / Procurement Head

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and result-driven Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, purchase orders, and timely availability of materials while ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate suppliers/vendors based on quality, price, delivery, and reliability.
- Source materials, products, and services as per company requirements.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize orders.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor pending orders and follow up on delivery schedules.
- Maintain vendor records, quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and related documents.
- Coordinate with stores, production, accounts,



and other departments regarding material requirements.
- Verify purchase specifications, quantities, and quality requirements.
- Resolve issues related to shortages, damages, delays, quality, and invoice discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
- Identify cost-saving and alternate sourcing opportunities.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain MIS/reports related to purchases, pending orders, vendor performance, and cost analysis.

Required Skills
- Solid negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/purchase software.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and deadlines.
