Operator – Job Description

Position: Mat Production Operator

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Mat Production Operator to operate production machinery and ensure smooth, efficient and quality-focused mat manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate mat manufacturing machines safely and efficiently.
- Set up and adjust machines according to production requirements.
- Monitor production output and maintain the required quality standards.
- Check mat size, shape, finishing and overall quality during production.
- Identify machine problems and report breakdowns to the supervisor/maintenance team.
- Maintain proper production quantity and minimize material wastage.
- Handle raw materials carefully and ensure proper feeding of materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety around the machine and work area.
- Follow production schedules and instructions given by the supervisor.
- Complete daily production records and report production issues.




- Coordinate with other production team members for smooth workflow.
- Follow all company safety rules, discipline and operating procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in mat manufacturing / textile / coir / PVC mat production is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of operating production machinery.
- Ability to understand machine settings and production instructions.
- Good attention to quality and production targets.
- Responsible, punctual and disciplined.
- Ability to work in shifts if required.
- Freshers with relevant machine-operation interest may also be considered.
