Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Review SAP security and authorization test cases raised by testers.
- Validate test cases against business process and role requirements.
- Perform role and authorization testing to ensure appropriate access is provisioned.
- Review and validate SAP roles, authorization objects and access.
- Perform SoD conflict and access-risk analysis as part of role testing.
- Conduct Test Case Authoring & Design (TCA) and Post Execution Review (PER).
- Review test execution results and identify authorization/security gaps.
- Log and review defects in ALM and ensure proper remediation.
- Coordinate with SAP Security, functional, business and testing teams for retesting and defect closure.
- Support SIT, UAT and regression testing for SAP security/role changes.




- Ensure testing follows defined quality standards and documentation requirements.

Mandatory Skills
- Strong SAP Testing experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with ALM / HP ALM / Quality Center.
- Experience in Test Case Review, Test Case Authoring and Test Execution Review.
- Strong experience in SAP Security / Authorization Testing SAP Security, PFCG, SU24, SU53, ST01, STAUTHTRACE.
- Strong understanding of SAP Roles and Role Testing.
- Strong knowledge of SoD conflicts and access-risk analysis.
- Experience validating SAP authorization/access against business requirements.
- Valuable understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of Fiori roles, catalogs and authorization is preferred.
- Experience with defect logging, retesting and closure.
- Good understanding of SAP business processes and ability to validate end-to-end access scenarios.
