We are supporting a confidential search for an experienced
Chemical Sector Head
to lead and develop a key sector within an established and growing organisation in the Indian Subcontinent.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercially minded professional with strong experience across the chemical industry, capable of combining sector expertise, strategic direction and operational leadership.

The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening the organisation’s position within the chemical sector, developing long-term client and stakeholder relationships, and identifying opportunities for sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

The role will include:
- Developing and implementing the sector strategy in line with wider business objectives.
- Providing leadership, direction and market insight across the chemical sector.
- Building and maintaining trusted relationships with clients, partners and senior stakeholders.
- Identifying new business opportunities, market developments and areas for expansion.
- Supporting the growth,



performance and development of the relevant team.
- Monitoring sector trends, commercial risks and emerging opportunities.
- Working collaboratively with internal functions to improve service delivery and operational performance.
- Representing the organisation at industry events, client meetings and relevant professional forums.
- Contributing to commercial planning, budgeting and performance reporting.
- Ensuring that all activity is delivered in accordance with applicable regulatory, safety, quality and compliance requirements.
