Role Overview
- The Cloud Solution Architect Applications is responsible for leading the design, delivery, and architecture of cloud-native application solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as Amazon EKS, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, AWS CDK, and Amazon Bedrock.
- This individual demonstrates robust technical leadership, deep cloud architecture expertise, and a service-oriented mindset to deliver scalable, secure, and modern application platforms.
- Responsibilities include defining application architecture strategy, standards, governance, and best practices, ensuring alignment with enterprise cloud strategy.
- This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to design, develop, modernize, and optimize applications leveraging microservices, serverless, and AI-enabled capabilities.
- The architect ensures solutions are highly available, secure, scalable, and cost optimized, while supporting enterprise digital transformation initiatives and long-term architecture goals.

Specific Duties/Accountabilities

*Application Architecture & Cloud Design*
- Define and maintain enterprise application architecture using AWS services including EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, CDK, and Bedrock
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-native solutions
- Establish architecture patterns (microservices, serverless, API-first, event-driven)
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and cloud strategy

*Cloud-Native Application Enablement*
- Architect and guide implementation of container-based applications using Amazon EKS
- Design serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and event-driven patterns
- Enable API-driven architectures using API Gateway
- Promote reusable framework
