Role & responsibilities
- Plan and manage preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure minimum machine downtime and maximum equipment availability.
- Lead and develop maintenance engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
- Monitor maintenance KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, OEE, and maintenance costs.
- Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and contractor activities.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement reliability improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate plant shutdowns, equipment overhauls, and improvement projects.
- Maintain utilities such as compressors, cranes, DG sets, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Preferred candidate profile
- 10-15 years of maintenance experience in heavy engineering/manufacturing, with 3-5 years in a leadership role.
