Job Description Finance Controller

About the Role

We are looking for a agile and hands-on Finance Controller to manage the finance function for a new and fast-growing business vertical, which is wholly owned subsidiary of InfoEdge. The person will also support finance for Naukri B2C business.The role will be responsible for establishing strong financial processes and controls while partnering closely with the Business Head and leadership team to drive financial discipline, visibility and informed decision-making and supporting them with complex and strategic initiatives from finance perspective and financial insights/ analytics.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise across financial planning & analysis, accounting, taxation, MIS, transaction processing, budgeting and financial controls, along with the ability to operate effectively in a start-up workplace.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Own the annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning process for the business unit.




- Partner with the Business Head and functional leaders to develop budgets aligned with business plans.
- Track actuals against budgets and provide variance analysis with actionable insights.
- Support business leaders in evaluating financial implications of new initiatives, investments and commercial decisions.
- Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support business growth and profitability.

2. Management Reporting & MIS
- Own timely and accurate monthly/quarterly MIS and management reporting.
- Prepare dashboards covering revenue, costs, profitability, cash flows and key business metrics.
- Provide meaningful variance analysis and identify key financial trends, risks and opportunities.
- Establish relevant KPIs and financial metrics for the new business.
- Present financial performance and insights to senior leadership.

3. Accounting & Financial Control
