Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and responsible Pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team. The candidate will be responsible for dispensing medicines accurately, maintaining pharmacy records, and ensuring proper medication handling as per hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medicines as per valid prescriptions.
- Verify prescriptions, dosage, and medication details before dispensing.
- Explain medication instructions to patients when required.
- Maintain proper stock levels and monitor expiry dates.
- Receive, store, and arrange medicines appropriately.
- Maintain pharmacy registers, records, and documentation.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments regarding medication requirements.
- Handle pharmacy returns and replacement of medicines according to hospital procedures.
- Ensure proper billing and inventory procedures.
- Follow pharmacy,



safety, and infection-control standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.
- Report stock shortages, damaged medicines, and discrepancies to the concerned authority.

Eligibility
- D.Pharm / B.Pharm qualification.
- Valid Pharmacy Council registration.
- Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

- Good knowledge of medicines and prescriptions.

- Good inventory-management skills.
- Responsible and patient-friendly attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
