Role & responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes and Data Warehouse systems.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and transformation testing across multiple data sources.
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing of ETL jobs.
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects; work with teams to resolve issues.
- Validate data integrity, consistency, and accuracy in staging, warehouse, and reporting layers.
- Automate repetitive test cases using SQL queries and scripting.
- Provide detailed test results, metrics, and reports to stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science,



Information Technology, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in ETL/Data Warehouse testing.
- Strong expertise in SQL (complex queries, joins, aggregations, stored procedures).
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, DataStage, SSIS).
- Knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts (star schema, snowflake schema, fact/dimension tables).
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail).
- Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Cognos) is a plus.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
