Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to develop and manage our sales and distribution network in the assigned territory.

The candidate will be responsible for appointing Stockists, generating Primary and Secondary Sales, developing the retail market, managing the sales team, and achieving monthly sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and appoint suitable Stockists in vacant and potential markets.

* Develop a solid STOCKIST and retail network across the assigned territory.

* Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual Primary Sales targets.

* Drive Secondary Sales through effective market coverage, retailer activation, and distributor management.





* Manage and motivate Sales Representatives / Sales Officers working in the territory.

* Ensure regular market visits and joint working with the sales team.

* Identify new markets, towns, retailers, wholesalers, and business opportunities.

* Ensure adequate stock availability at distributor/stockist points.

* Monitor distributor stock, secondary sales, outstanding payments, and market inventory.

* Increase product availability, visibility, and placement at retail outlets.

* Implement company sales schemes, promotions, and new product launches.

* Monitor competitor activities, pricing, schemes, products, and market developments.

* Maintain strong relationships with stockist , wholesalers, retailers, and other channel partners.

* Prepare sales forecasts, daily/weekly/monthly reports, and territory performance reviews.

* Ensure achievement of distribution, productivity, coverage, and sales targets.
