Position/Job Title: Asst. Manager Finance & Accounts

Job Responsibilities/Deliverables
Be responsible for the timely closure of the monthly books of accounts
Responsible for the preparation of standalone/consolidated financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Lead the annual Statutory Audit and Quarterly Limited reviews.
Managing statutory auditors and liaising with them. SPOC for providing required documents and explanations.
Reconcile accounts, including the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Assist in ensuring adherence to accounting and auditing standards.
Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure accuracy in financial records and prevent errors or fraud.
Ensure the smooth functioning of the accounting system (ERP or other accounting software) and maintain accurate records.




Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
Other project responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications & Pre-Requisites
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Semi-Qualified (completed articleship)
Total experience of 2 - 5 years in the Finance function within relevant areas
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in interaction with Big 4 audit firms for a listed company's statutory audit.
Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS), tax laws (GST, Income Tax, TDS, Customs, etc), and financial reporting.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
Positive working knowledge of SAP
Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel (ability to apply arithmetic and logical formulae, create and analyse pivots, create and analyse graphs) and ability to handle large spreadsheets
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, across departments and levels
Strong attention to detail
