Job Summary
Glowing Digital is looking for a skilled Web Developer with hands-on experience in WordPress, Shopify, and custom website development. The candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, optimizing, and maintaining high-quality websites for client projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress, Shopify, and custom websites.
- Customize themes, plugins, and website functionalities.
- Build responsive, user-friendly, and SEO-friendly websites.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and security.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve website bugs.
- Manage third-party integrations, APIs, and payment gateways.
- Ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility.
- Coordinate with the SEO, Design, and Digital Marketing teams.
- Manage multiple projects and deliver work within defined timelines.
Required Skills
- Solid experience in WordPress website development.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify development and customization.
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin customization.
- Knowledge of Shopify Liquid will be an advantage.
- Understanding of website speed optimization and SEO-friendly development.
- Experience with third-party integrations and APIs.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
Candidate Requirements
- 1–2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Prior experience in a digital agency or client-based projects is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
