Responsibilities -

Oversee the daily operations and management of the operation theatre, ensuring smooth and effective functioning.
- Coordinate with surgical teams to organize and prepare the operation theatre for procedures.
- Maintain sterility and ensure adherence to infection control practices at all times.
- Supervise the handling and proper maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
- Provide emergency support during surgical procedures and respond effectively to any complications.
- Manage and document clinical information accurately and ensure compliance with medical standards.
- Train and mentor junior staff and ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure availability of essential supplies.
- Evaluate and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation theatre.

Qualification

BSC nursing, MSc Master of Science, MHA Healthcare Administration
