The role requires verifying the accuracy of cited information, assessing whether evidence appropriately supports specific statements, and mapping relationships between claims, data, and source material. You will analyze complex arguments, trace evidence chains, identify unsupported assertions, and ensure rigorous alignment between content and its documented references.

Responsibilities
- Trace citations to original sources

- Detect mismatches between claims and evidence
- Identify incorrect or fabricated references
- Annotate alignment errors and evidence-quality issues

Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in editing, academic research, fact-checking, or publishing
- Solid source-verification skills
- Ability to audit claims and evidence systematically
