Role & responsibilities

1. Understand and interpret contract agreements and scope of technical requirements for projects/ proposals.

2. Ensure accurate piping specification documents for projects incorporating requisite codes and standards for projects (National and International, Piping Engineering Design and Material specifications Codes and Standards).

3. Deliver wall thickness, branch & stiffener calculations as per applicable codes (ASME, BS, EN, DIN etc.)

4. Prepare accurate specifications for Valves, Piping Material, Insulation, Painting & Misc./ special parts specification.

5. Prepare inspection & testing requirement specifications for Fabrication & installation of piping.

6. Enable smooth co-ordination with intra-discipline groups namely Layout, 3D Software Administration and with other Engineering and Non-Engineering disciplines.

7. Ensure Preparation of deviation list,



get clarification for queries & approval from client for deviation list.

8. Preparation of Design Documents for Piping Design Appraisals as per PED/CE, CRN/PE etc.

9. Coordinate with Procurement Team & Construction team for timely delivery and completion of projects.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Technical knowledge in the field of Piping Engineering applicable to various sector & Industries.

2. Understanding of Contracts

3. Knowledge National & International Design Codes, Standards & Regulations (ASME, API, BS, Indian, DIN, EN Codes & Standards)

4. Hands-on experience of working with ASME B31.1, B31.3, BPV Code, EN 13480 etc.

5. Conversant with requirements of European, American, African, Brazilian, Australian Directives
