Job Overview
We are seeking a precise and reliable Chemistry Lab Assistant to support the delivery of the Cambridge International Science curriculum (Lower Secondary, IGCSE, and Cambridge International AS & A Level Chemistry) to oversee the day-to-day operations of our chemistry laboratories. You will be responsible for preparing chemical reagents, setting up apparatus for class practicals and demonstrations, maintaining stringent safety protocols (including chemical waste disposal), and managing chemical inventory to ensure a safe, efficient learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or Higher National Diploma)
in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience as a school laboratory technician, ideally within a Cambridge International (CAIE) or British curriculum school.
Technical Skills: Expertise in stoichiometry, molar solution preparation, volumetric analysis, and organic chemical handling.
Key Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, strict compliance with exam confidentiality, and solid time-management skills.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
- Daily handling of hazardous, corrosive, and volatile chemicals within fume hoods and designated preparation areas.
- Strict adherence to standard Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards, including lab coats, chemical safety goggles, and nitrile gloves.
