1. To plan and facilitate individual departments -
a) In developing management systems
b) Optimization of complex management processes and cost of services
c) Simplification of systems
d) Method and SOP implementation for improvement in manpower, skill and knowledge deployment through various integrated measures & techniques for saving manhours, manpowers, cost, possible loss of knowledge/information/ asset care.
e) Optimal utlization of manpowers
f) Prevention of leakages/idleness in various resources

2. Implementing policies and measures in the unit to achieve-
a) requirement of right IT solutions
b) Lean processes
c) DMAIC for Operational processes - creation of recent system and processes
d)Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control - Optimizing labor,



materials and machines, especially for large shutdowns and related jobs
e) Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control - Improving the quality and productivity through analyzing procurement, service and deployment planning for major maintenance and shutdown

Mandatory Skills

1. Working experience as Industrial Engineer in a large integrated chemical/metallurgical unit.
2. Exposure to P&B; preparation
3. Exposure to Zero Based Cost estimation and procurement management
4. Exposure to O&M;
5. Working experience in procurement function in any stage of the career
6. Idea about Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing
