Job Overview

We are seeking an accurate, detail-oriented BL & Shipping Documentation Specialist to oversee international shipping documentation, with a primary focus on Bill of Lading (BL) management. In this role, you will interface directly with ocean carriers, freight forwarders, customs house agents (CHAs), and internal sales/finance teams.



You will ensure all ocean and air freight documentation—including Master Bills of Lading (MBL) and House Bills of Lading (HBL)—are processed seamlessly, accurately, and in compliance with global trade regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Bill of Lading Management:
- Draft, review, and verify ocean/air Bills of Lading (MBL & HBL), including *Original*, *Seaway Bill*, and *Telex Release* instructions.
- Audit Shipping Instructions (SI) against Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Letters of Credit (L/C) to eliminate discrepancies.
- Coordinate BL amendments with shipping lines promptly to avoid customs hold-ups or late documentation fees.
- EXIM & Export/Import Documentation:
- Prepare complete shipping sets: Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin (COO), Bills of Entry/Shipping Bills, and Phytosanitary/Inspection Certificates.
