Assistant Café Manager – Cafe Miranda

Location: Mira Road, Mumbai
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹16,000 – ₹20,000 per month, based on experience

Cafe Miranda is looking for a responsible, disciplined and hands-on Assistant Café Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the café runs properly at all times.

This is not a desk job. The person hired will be expected to work alongside the team and actively handle customers, service and daily operations.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily café operations and ensure smooth service
- Supervise kitchen, service and beverage staff
- Take orders, serve customers and assist with food and beverage service
- Step in and work during busy hours wherever required
- Manage staff attendance, shifts and daily responsibilities
- Ensure food quality, presentation and service standards are maintained
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues immediately
- Monitor POS, billing, cash and daily sales
- Monitor inventory, purchases, wastage and expiry dates
- Ensure proper storage, cleanliness and hygiene




- Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed correctly
- Train staff and ensure all café SOPs are followed
- Maintain discipline and address staff performance issues
- Identify and resolve operational problems without waiting for the owner
- Send daily updates/reports to the owner regarding sales, stock, purchases, wastage, attendance and issues
- Ensure the café remains organised and operational even when the owner is not present

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a café, restaurant or F&B; supervisory role
- Age: 28–45 years preferred
- Robust communication and customer-handling skills
- Good leadership and team-management skills
- Knowledge of POS, billing and basic reporting
- Basic understanding of inventory and wastage control
- Comfortable with WhatsApp, Excel/Google Sheets and basic computer work
- Reliable, punctual, honest and disciplined
- Must be energetic and comfortable being on their feet
