Job Description

Provide vigilant test monitoring and failure reporting during automated highvoltage tests, ensuring strict adherence to Bosch HSE and international best practice. The technician is an Instructed Person (IP) under the operationofelectricalinstallations framework and works under supervision of an Electrically Skilled Person (ESP).

Key Responsibilities

A. Test Monitoring & Execution Support
- Monitor ongoing HV tests (incl. Cal OT) on automated benches; track parameters via PLC/HMI and physical indicators.
- Verify stability of supplies (1001,500 V DC; 3phase AC), highcurrent busbars, and coolant circulation; perform preshift standardized checks.
- Execute only defined actions in test instructions; never alter scripts or interlocks.
- Maintain Estop readiness and clear egress; uphold twoperson rule inside HV test cells. *(Aligned with EN 501101: operation/working procedures & personnel categories)*

B. Failure Reporting & Escalation
- Stage 1 Deviation: Log noncritical deviations/alarms with timestamps and screenshots/photos where secure.
- Stage 2 Catastrophe:



On smoke, arcing, fire, or unsafe conditions: hit EStop, alert Shift Supervisor/ERT, secure area, and follow emergency plan. *(Consistent with EN* *501101 safe operation & emergency provisions)*

C. HSE Compliance & PPE
- Apply Golden Rules of Electrical Safety and lab SOPs; wear appropriate arcrated PPE per hazard category and use class insulated gloves and leather protectors; conduct glove air tests before use.
- Follow LOTO/energyisolation principles; only ESPs perform LOTO.
- Handle ethylene glycol per MSDS; manage spills/waste as hazardous.
- Participate in toolbox talks, drills, and safety programs.

D. Equipment & DUT Handling
- Assist ESPs in DUT setup/removal only after deenergization and LOTO confirmation by authorized Bosch personnel; observe ESD precautions.

E. Housekeeping & 5S
- Maintain clear gangways, insulated mats, and signage; verify integrity of barriers and interlocks befor
