Role & responsibilities:
- Oversee quality control operations for raw materials, clinker, and finished cement.
- Ensure compliance with BIS standards (IS 269, IS 8112, IS 12269, etc.) and internal quality norms.
- Monitor and control chemical and physical parameters through laboratory testing and analysis.
- Supervise sampling, testing, and reporting processes in the laboratory.
- Analyze test results and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for deviations.
- Coordinate with Production, Process, and Maintenance teams to maintain optimal product quality.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of lab instruments such as XRF, XRD, Blaine apparatus, etc.
- Implement and maintain ISO quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 if applicable).




- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality processes.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
- Handle customer complaints and conduct root cause analysis.
- Train and mentor junior chemists and lab technicians.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards within the QC lab
