We are looking for an energetic, curious, and camera-confident Trainee Journalist / Junior Reporter to join our growing media team. This is a multi-skilled field role where you will be on the ground—discovering stories, conducting street/public interviews, and shooting videos using smartphones or cameras.

Key Responsibilities
- Field Reporting & Interviews: Conduct engaging on-camera interviews, vox pops (street interviews), and ground reports with the public and guests.
- Video Shooting: Shoot clean, well-framed videos and interviews on location using a mobile device/DSLR and basic microphone setups.
- Story Research: Research trending topics, current events, and hyper-local stories to propose fresh content ideas.
- Scripting & Presenting: Write basic news scripts, pieces-to-camera (PTC), and interview question sets.




- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the editing team to ensure the recorded footage aligns with the final video output.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field (or equivalent practical interest).
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Camera Confidence: Comfortable speaking on camera and interacting with strangers in public settings.
- Basic Videography Skills: Ability to shoot steady, high-quality videos on a smartphone or camera.
- Basic understanding of framing, lighting, and explicit audio recording.
- High energy, curious mindset, and willingness to work on the field.

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
