Business Development Engineer
Location: Chennai/ Bangalore

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (5 day work week) 8.30-5.30pm

About Our Company
Founded in 1945 as a custom coil maker, we are now a multi-location company which produces inductors for a long list of customers in telecommunications, computers, instrumentation and consumer electrical products.

We are now looking for a hands-on, driven and people-oriented Business Development Engineer to coordinate all interactions with our customers to ensure that their requirements have been met with promptly and to generate current business leads. This is a people fronting role which is ideal for someone organised, proactive, meticulous and with good communication skills

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation
> Search for new clients who might benefit from company products or services.
> Identify, plan and forecast opportunities through sales pipelines management.

Technical Sales Management

> Understand customer business requirements and preferences.




> Ability to demonstrate product knowledge by providing information on product features to customers.
> Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations.
> Visiting customer on regular basis based on Sales Leads, Cold calls based lead generation, work as a team to grow the number of design wins with electronic product OEMs / EDS companies.
> Work closely with customers R&D;, sourcing/purchase team, skilled in market intelligence.
> Good understanding of the electronics industry across the verticals - telecom, Semi-con, automotive, medical, industrial and defence. Preferably good knowledge about Bangalore/South India Market.

Customer Loyalty Management

> Develop long-term relationships with clients.

> Gain a foothold as the preferred supplier.

> Support continuous improvement of logistics processes
> Carry out any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management

Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor in Electrical & Electronics Engineering pref
