As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a top-tier, high-performing software engineering team at our Bengaluru tech hub. Your mission is to balance compassionate people leadership with rigorous technical execution. You will drive system design excellence, act as an architectural anchor, collaborate across product divisions, and systematically grow, mentor, and promote the engineers under your care.

Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Direct, mentor, and foster a healthy culture of deep ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the engineering team.
- Talent Development: Drive career progression by conducting regular 1:1s, building personalized individual growth plans, and handling structured performance reviews.
- Career Progression: Actively sponsor team promotions, guide skill development, and map out long-term qualified trajectories for junior and mid-level developers.

Technical Leadership & Execution
- Delivery & Execution: Own engineering roadmaps from end to end, ensuring high-quality, dependable, and timely software releases.




- Architecture & System Design: Participate in core distributed systems architecture reviews, identifying bottlenecks in cloud infrastructure and api integrations.
- Hands-on Contribution: Maintain a healthy work split by participating in rigorous code reviews and actively writing code for business-critical technical initiatives.
- Engineering Best Practices: Institutionalize modern development standards centered around software reliability, automated testing, distributed scaling, and seamless deployments.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Partner closely with Product Management, UI/UX Design, and executive stakeholders to convert product ideas into robust technical requirements.

Technical Requirements
- Overall Experience: 8 – 12 years of progressive hands-on experience in software engineering.
- Domain Mastery: Deep, production-level expertise in Backend Engineering and Enterprise System Design.
