Role Description
This is a full time, on-site Accounts Assistant role based in Mumbai. The Accounts Assistant will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including handling petty cash, posting entries, preparing vouchers, and maintaining ledgers. The role involves assisting with credit control functions, tracking receivables, coordinating with internal teams and clients, and supporting finance-related documentation and reporting. The Accounts Assistant will also help with reconciliations, basic data entry in accounting systems,



and ensuring compliance with internal processes and timelines.

Qualifications
- Accounting and Finance skills, including basic bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and familiarity with financial records.
- Experience in Credit Control, such as monitoring outstanding payments and following up on receivables.
- Ability to manage Petty Cash, including accurate recording, balancing, and reporting of cash transactions.
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and exposure to accounting or ERP software.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
- Relevant educational background in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Prior experience in logistics, freight, or a similar industry is an advantage.
