Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Shop Engineer / Quality Engineer to oversee machining operations, ensure product quality, and coordinate with production and vendors to achieve customer requirements. The candidate should have experience in machining processes, dimensional inspection, quality documentation, and continuous improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control machine shop production activities.
- Perform in-process and final inspection of machined components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and specifications.
- Conduct dimensional inspection using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and CMM.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and documentation.
- Handle NCR, CAPA, and 8D reports for quality issues.
- Coordinate with production, design, purchase, and vendor teams.
- Follow up with vendors regarding quality concerns and corrective actions.
- Ensure calibration status of measuring instruments.




- Support customer inspections and third-party inspections.
- Implement 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and company procedures.

Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in Machine Shop or Quality Engineering.
- Knowledge of machining processes, inspection methods, and quality tools.
- Experience with GD&T;, 7 QC Tools, and 5 Core Tools.
- Familiarity with CMM, Trimas, and other measuring instruments.
- Valuable communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills
- Vendor quality management and follow-up.
- Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action implementation.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and quality documentation.
- Experience in automotive, heavy engineering, aerospace, oil & gas, or precision machining industries.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,00
