Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance, troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, peripherals, software, and basic network infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations and resolving user issues within defined timelines.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 technical support to end users for hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot Windows OS, MS Office, Outlook, Teams, browsers, and other business applications.
- Configure and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, and basic network connectivity.
- Handle user account creation, password resets, and access-related issues.
- Install and update software,



antivirus, security patches, and system drivers.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware failures and coordinate with vendors when required.
- Maintain IT assets, inventory records, and equipment allocation details.
- Monitor and respond to tickets through the organization's IT helpdesk/ticketing system.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate technical team.
- Maintain proper documentation of incidents, solutions, and service requests.
- Follow IT security policies, procedures, and organizational standards.
- Provide on-site/remote support as required.

Required Skills
- Valuable knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts – LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi and VPN.
- Hands-on experience in desktop and laptop troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and user administration is an advantage.
