Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Staff Nurse to join our Gynecology Ward team. The candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, coordinating nursing activities, assisting doctors during procedures, and ensuring compliance with hospital and nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to gynecology and post-operative patients.
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, clinical condition, intake/output, and other relevant observations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
- Assist gynecologists during examinations, procedures, and minor interventions.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
- Monitor patients for complications and promptly report any abnormal findings to the concerned doctor.
- Maintain accurate nursing records,



patient charts, medication records, and other required documentation.
- Ensure proper handover and takeover of patients during shift changes.
- Follow infection prevention and control practices, medication safety, patient safety, and hospital protocols.
- Educate patients and attendants regarding medication, procedures, post-operative care, and discharge instructions.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, laboratory, pharmacy, and other departments for effective patient care.
- Guide and support junior nursing staff and nursing assistants in the ward.
- Ensure proper maintenance and availability of emergency drugs, equipment, and nursing supplies.
- Participate in emergency management, code responses, and hospital quality initiatives.
- Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, dignity, and professional standards at all times.

Qualifications
- B.Sc Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.
