Qualification; ITI / Diploma – Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or related technical discipline

JOB SUMMARY

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and customer support for company products at customer locations. The role requires strong technical and problem-solving skills, customer-service orientation, safety awareness, and willingness to travel extensively. The technician will represent the company at customer sites and ensure timely service, equipment reliability, minimum downtime, and high customer satisfaction.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installation & Commissioning: Install and commission products according to company standards; perform operational testing, safety checks,



and customer demonstrations before final handover.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled maintenance, inspect equipment for potential failures, replace minor components/consumables, maintain service schedules, and recommend corrective actions.
- Breakdown & Troubleshooting: Attend customer complaints promptly and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electronic faults; repair/replace defective components and restore equipment with minimum downtime.
- Customer Support: Respond professionally to customer queries, provide product-operation and basic maintenance training, explain best practices, and maintain robust customer relationships.
- Service Documentation: Prepare service reports after every visit, record spare parts used, update ERP/CRM/service software, maintain installation records, and submit travel/expense reports on time.
