Position: Title Examiner – FL State
Experience: 2+ years in US Mortgage
Location: WFH

Process: US Mortgage – Title Examination

Job Responsibilities
- Perform title examination for Florida properties and review property records to determine ownership and title status.
- Examine deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, releases, assignments, and other recorded documents.
- Identify clouds on title, unreleased liens, judgments, ownership issues, and other title defects.
- Conduct current owner, two-owner, and full title searches based on client requirements.
- Review the chain of title and verify legal ownership of the property.
- Prepare detailed title search/examination reports with accurate findings.
- Ensure compliance with Florida state-specific title requirements and applicable client guidelines.
- Research and validate property taxes, mortgages, liens, judgments, and other encumbrances.
- Coordinate with title processors, examiners,



and other stakeholders to resolve title-related issues.
- Maintain accuracy and meet quality, productivity, and turnaround-time targets.

Required Skills
- Strong experience in US Title Search / Title Examination.
- Good knowledge of Florida (FL) property records and title standards.
- Hands-on experience with Current Owner Search, Two Owner Search, and Full Search.
- Strong understanding of Deeds, Liens, Judgments, Mortgages, Easements, Releases, and Assignments.
- Ability to analyze chain of title and identify title defects.
- Good knowledge of US Mortgage / Real Estate terminology.
- Experience with title search platforms such as DataTrace, TitlePoint, Netronline, DT Docs, EaglePro, or similar tools.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Robust attention to detail and analytical skills.
