Position: Legal Assistant / Legal Drafting Associate / Law Graduate / Case Support Specialist

Location: Remote (Work From Home – India)

About the Role

You will work closely with our Canadian legal team in preparing legal documentation. Your responsibilities will include legal drafting, document review, file organization, research, and preparing applications for lawyer review.

Responsibilities
- Draft legal submissions, letters, and supporting documents.
- Prepare and organize immigration applications.
- Review supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Conduct legal and policy research as assigned.
- Format legal documents using Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat Pro.




- Maintain organized electronic client files.
- Support lawyers and case managers with administrative tasks.

Qualifications
- Law degree (LL.B., B.A. LL.B., LL.M.) or equivalent legal education preferred.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent command of written English, with the ability to prepare clear, professional, and well-structured legal documents.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, document structure, and skilled legal correspondence.
- Ability to review large volumes of documents carefully and identify inconsistencies, missing information, and issues requiring lawyer review.
- Ability to independently research legislation, regulations, policies, case law, and government guidance.
- Experience working with Canadian immigration matters, Canadian legal procedures, or Canadian government applications is an asset.
