We are Hiring for Baker By Chance Retail Outlets at Gurugram & Delhi NCR for Commie 2.

The Commie II is responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of Italian and Continental dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen safety. The role supports senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, ensures mise en place is completed efficiently, and contributes to delivering an exceptional dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Production
- Prepare ingredients and mise en place for Italian and Continental dishes as per recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of pasta, pizzas, sauces, risottos, grilled items, sandwiches, salads, soups, and other menu offerings.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portion control, presentation, and quality of food.
- Support chefs during peak meal periods and banquet/catering services.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

Quality & Food Safety
- Adhere to food safety, HACCP, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling,



and rotation of food items (FIFO).
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Report any quality issues, spoilage, or equipment malfunction to supervisors.

Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and inform supervisors of replenishment requirements.
- Minimize food wastage through effective utilization of ingredients.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion controls to maintain food cost targets.

Team Support
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and service teams.
- Assist in training and supporting current kitchen staff when required.
- Follow instructions from Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and Executive Chef.

Health & Safety
- Comply with company policies, food safety regulations, and workplace safety procedures.
- Wear designated uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
