About OnePe

OnePe is a retail intelligence platform for offline businesses. We integrate directly with a merchant's existing billing software and replace the thermal printer with a smart device. There is no workflow change for the merchant and nothing new to learn. Every bill generated through OnePe becomes an insight — which customers are at risk of churning, which products drive repeat visits, which hours matter most. We are building this city by city, starting in Coimbatore.

The Role

This is a frontline, merchant-facing execution role.

As Business Development Manager, you own merchant acquisition and activation in your assigned territory within Coimbatore. You identify merchants, pitch OnePe, get the device installed, and make sure the merchant is actively using it. You report to the City Business Head and are the face of OnePe on the ground.

This role is for someone early in their sales career who wants to learn merchant-facing selling from the ground up, with a explicit path to owning a city.

What You Will Own




- Identify and pitch to retail merchants in your assigned territory
- Drive the full merchant acquisition cycle — from first pitch to device installation and activation
- Demonstrate the OnePe device and explain the value it brings to merchant owners and staff
- Coordinate installation and onboarding with the operations team
- Ensure merchants are actively billing through the device after activation
- Follow up on renewals and collections for your assigned merchants
- Maintain a daily pipeline and activity report for the City Business Head
- Build local relationships that support referrals and word of mouth
- Resolve first-level merchant queries and escalate promptly when needed

What We Are Looking For
- 2 – 5 years in Fin Tech, SaaS, B2B sales, field sales, or merchant-facing roles
- Comfortable with high-volume field work — most of the day is on the ground, not at a desk
- Prior experience in fintech, POS, SaaS, or
