Job Title: Pharmacist

Job Summary:
The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing prescription medications accurately, providing patient counseling, ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations, and promoting the safe and effective use of medicines. The role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes while maintaining high standards of pharmacy practice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions.
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, side effects, storage, and adherence.
- Monitor patient medication therapy and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Maintain accurate patient medication records and pharmacy documentation.
- Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory pharmacy standards.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and handling expired or controlled medications.
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and other support staff.




- Participate in health screenings, immunization programs, and patient education initiatives (where applicable).
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with applicable privacy regulations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), as required by the country.
- Valid pharmacist license/registration with the relevant regulatory authority.
- Solid knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and pharmacy laws.
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and electronic health records.
