Linux System Administrator / Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Linux System Administrator / Cloud Engineer for our client’s Technology Operations team. The candidate will manage enterprise Linux environments, GCP infrastructure, automation, patching, security, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

Administer RHEL, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu & Debian servers.

Perform monthly patching, upgrades & vulnerability remediation.

Automate tasks using Ansible & Bash; Python is a plus.

Troubleshoot Linux OS, middleware, applications & networking issues.

Manage and support Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure.

Build/configure infrastructure for projects and POC environments.

Support production operations, incident response & on-call activities.

Collaborate with Infrastructure & Information Security teams for security and compliance.

Maintain technical documentation and perform day-to-day server administration.

Required Skills

5+ years of Linux System Administration.





Strong hands-on experience with RHEL, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu & Debian.

Strong GCP experience.

Linux patching, security updates & vulnerability management.

Ansible & Bash scripting.

Strong troubleshooting and enterprise production-support experience.

Preferred Skills

Windows Server | Terraform/IaC | VMware vSphere | AWS | Git/GitLab | Kubernetes/Containers | Python

Candidate Profile

Robust operational mindset, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment, strong communication/documentation skills, and willingness to work IST hours with on-call support.
