Role & responsibilities :
- Responsible for reviewing the requisitions on daily basis received from stores Department by sending enquiry, preparing comparision sheet, getting cost approval, vendors sourcing so as to get quality material.
- Ensure Cost reduction by preparing annual Price List by interacting with Original Equipment Manufacturers, getting quotations, preparing cost comparision, cost approval so as to achieve return on investment.
- Ensure that the urgent / pending ordered material / items are arranged for production by checking the inventories/ non moving stocks, visiting supplier in case needed in order to ensure customer delight.
- Identify the non moving stock by interacting with stores team so as to utlize the same and also to eliminate the excess inventory Give raw material cost to Costing Department based on price list finalised from the approved suppliers so as to provide actual cost to the marketing department.




- Current Vendor Development : Adopt appropriate supplier management methodologies by identifying new sources through profile & benchmark study and make them as approved vendors by visiting them / trial order supply and release the purchase order to reduce lead time.
- Reviewing supplier performance and quality of service based on sourcing of materials to manufacturing requirements, comply all internal and external statutory requirements, adhere the system and procedures, initiate cost reduction exercise through CFT and other team development programs, communicate and educate supplier as and when any deviation on quality systems or failures, build supplier base.
- Organise shipment movement from vendor end and arrange for custom clearance and delivery of shipment
