Role: DevOps Engineer

Location: Ahmedabad

About the team:

You will join an established product and engineering organisation working on a real-world eCommerce and manufacturing platform. We operate with regular releases, automated deployments, and multiple environments, with systems running across cloud-hosted and virtualised environments.

Teams collaborate closely across engineering, UX, QA, DevOps, and delivery, with a shared focus on building stable, high-quality products.

Essential Skills:
- Solid Linux fundamentals; comfortable working with Windows Server.
- Good hands-on experience with at least one scripting language like PowerShell, Bash or Python.
- Positive at least one scripting language like Bash, PowerShell or Python.
- Working experience with at least one CI/CD tool like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Working experience with at least one cloud platform like AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Good understanding of Git fundamentals like branching, merging, code review workflows.




- Understanding of web servers and how applications are deployed and served.
- Good communication skills.

Desirable Skills:
- Experience with .NET / .NET Core builds and IIS administration.
- Experience with Self-hosted infrastructure
- Databases (SQL Server, MySQL or PostgreSQL) operations.
- Monitoring stacks (Prometheus/Grafana, ELK).
- Docker and containers.
- Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).

Principal accountabilities and responsibilities:
- Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines under senior guidance.
- Support releases and deployments across multiple environments.
- Monitor production systems; respond to and escalate alerts.
- Automate routine operational tasks with scripts and tooling.
- Assist with troubleshooting infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Learn our Windows/IIS/.NET production stack through a structured development plan.
- Good documentation
