Job Title: Design Engineer -Solid edge

Experience: 2–4 Years

Joining: Immediate Joiners Preferred

Must have skills: Solid edge / Auto Cad / Product Design / Sheet metal / SPM / Material Handling Equipment / Machine Design / Costing / Should Costing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

● Prepare 2D/3D designs, layouts, BOMs, and technical drawings as per customer requirements.

● Prepare and support technical proposals and RFQs, including costing and cycle time studies.

● Develop part, assembly, and sheet metal designs considering manufacturability, cost, and performance.

● Interpret customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.

● Use AutoCAD and Solid Edge/SolidWorks for design and drafting.

● Apply GD&T;, stack-up analysis, and relevant engineering standards.

● Coordinate with Sales, Production, Quality, Purchase, and suppliers for technical requirements and design feasibility.





● Conduct design reviews and support resolution of technical issues.

● Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, and project records.

● Support manufacturing, assembly, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements:

● Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field

● Previous experience as a Design Engineer or a similar role

● Proven experience using CAD software and 3D Modeling; knowledge of SolidWorks is advantageous

● Good understanding of safety standards and the environmental impact of a design.

● Should have knowledge of components and cost as per company standards.

● Should have a Vendor Database.

● Ability to present in front of stakeholders and managers.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
