Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant with strong hands-on knowledge of day-to-day accounting, Tally, Excel, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliations. The candidate should be detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of independently managing routine accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in
Tally / Tally Prime
.
- Handle
accounts receivable and accounts payable
activities.
- Prepare and track customer invoices, supplier bills, and payment schedules.
- Perform
bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and customer ledger reconciliation
.
- Follow up on outstanding receivables and maintain ageing reports.
- Process supplier payments and maintain proper supporting documentation.
- Assist with
monthly closing, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliation
.
- Maintain expense records, petty cash, and supporting vouchers.
- Prepare regular
MIS and accounting reports using MS Excel
.




- Support GST/TDS-related data preparation and basic compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and customers on accounting-related matters.
- Assist in maintaining documentation required for statutory and audit purposes.
- Basic knowledge of
export documentation, commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipment-related paperwork
will be an added advantage.

- Basic understanding of

Candidate Profile
- Graduate in
Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
preferred.
