About the Role

We are looking for a creative, energetic, and internet-savvy Social Media Intern who understands Instagram, Reels, memes, trends, and what makes people stop scrolling.

You will work closely with the marketing and content team to build Slash's social presence through engaging short-form content, trend-based campaigns, creator collaborations, and community engagement.

This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to create content, not just schedule posts.

Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute Instagram Reels, Stories, posts, memes, and short-form videos.
- Identify trending formats, sounds, memes, topics, and social media conversations.
- Develop creative hooks, captions, scripts, and content ideas.
- Assist in planning and maintaining the social media content calendar.
- Shoot content using a smartphone and assist in on-ground content production.
- Support influencer and creator collaborations.
- Monitor comments, DMs,



trends, and community conversations.
- Research competitor brands and identify recent content opportunities.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh campaign ideas.
- Track basic metrics such as reach, views, engagement, shares, saves, and follower growth.
- Experiment with different content formats and learn what drives engagement.

What We're Looking For
- Strong understanding of Instagram and short-form content.
- Naturally curious about Gen Z culture, memes, internet trends, fashion, lifestyle, and e-commerce.
- Positive communication and writing skills.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable appearing on camera or working around content shoots.
- Basic video editing and graphic design skills.
- Ability to work independently and execute ideas quickly.
- Willingness to experiment and learn from performance data.
