Key Responsibilities1. Fleet Edge Onboarding & Customer Training
- Perform Fleet Edge activation and onboarding during the Vehicle Delivery Process (PDI/Handover).
- Conduct practical demonstrations of the Fleet Edge Mobile App & Web Portal for vehicle owners and fleet managers.
- Educate customers on key features: fuel tracking, driver behavior monitoring, trip management, and preventive maintenance alerts.
- Handle subscription renewals, upselling, and customer support for telematics services.

2. VLTD Fitment & Regulatory Compliance (AIS-140)
- Ensure all applicable commercial vehicles (buses, taxis, hazmat trucks, etc.) have compliant VLTD hardware and Emergency (Panic) Buttons fitted properly.
- Coordinate device registration and mapping on VAHAN and state-specific transport portals (e.g., MVRD / RTO portals).
- Generate and issue VLTD Fitment Certificates required for vehicle registration and fitness tests.




- Ensure panic buttons and real-time tracking signals feed correctly into state Command & Control Centers (CCC).

3. Technical & Operational Support
- Perform initial troubleshooting for hardware errors (GPS signal loss, SIM card errors, wire harness issues, or sensor calibration).
- Coordinate with OEM engineers (Tata Motors) and third-party vendor teams for device replacements or warranty claims.
- Assist workshop technicians during scheduled maintenance to verify telematics wiring and OBD connectivity.

4. Sales Enablement & Reporting
- Train sales consultants on how to pitch Fleet Edge and VAS during pre-sales conversations.
- Maintain logs and weekly metrics on:
- Total vehicle deliveries vs. Fleet Edge activation rate.
- Active vs. inactive Fleet Edge subscriptions.
- Pending VLTD certifications and RTO mappings.
