To ensure accurate, timely and systematic handling of incoming material, inventory, picking, packing and dispatch activities while maintaining proper documentation and stock records.
Key Responsibilities1. Store & Inventory Management
- Receive incoming material and verify quantity, item code and condition against purchase documents.
- Properly store and organize bearings, pneumatics, lubricants, power transmission and other industrial products.
- Maintain proper bin locations and identification of material.
- Conduct regular physical stock checks and report discrepancies.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Keep the store clean, protected and systematically arranged.
2. Order Picking & Dispatch
- Pick material accurately as per sales order/invoice.
- Verify part number, quantity,
customer and dispatch instructions before packing.
- Pack material appropriately to prevent damage during transportation.
- Prepare dispatch documents, invoices, e-way bills and transporter documentation as required.
- Coordinate with transporters/couriers for timely dispatch.
- Update dispatch status and share tracking/LR details with the concerned sales team.
3. Documentation & ERP
- Make timely entries for inward, outward and stock movements in ERP/system.
- Maintain GRN, delivery challans, dispatch registers and other store records.
- Ensure physical stock and system stock remain aligned.
- Support stock reconciliation and month-end inventory closing.
4. Coordination
- Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Accounts and Transporters for smooth order execution.
- Highlight shortages, wrong material, damaged material or stock discrepancies immediately.
- Follow up on pending dispatches and ensure committed dispatch timelines are met.
