Job Title: Head Cashier – Retail Store

Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Head Cashier to oversee all front-end cash operations in our retail store. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth billing processes, manage cashier staff, maintain accurate cash handling procedures, and deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support all cashier team members during shifts
- Ensure accurate billing, cash collection, and daily reconciliation
- Train new cashiers on POS system, customer service, and store policies
- Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve issues promptly
- Monitor checkout counters to maintain speed, accuracy, and service quality
- Prepare daily cash reports and coordinate safe drops/bank deposits
- Ensure compliance with loss prevention and cash handling guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of billing counters
- Assist with store operations when needed (returns,



exchanges, stock checks, etc.)
- Collaborate with store management to improve processes and customer experience

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cashier or Head Cashier in a retail environment
- Strong knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in supervising teams
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, billing software, POS tools)

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
