Quality Engineer Open Position (01)

Experience: 4–5 Years
Industry: Pressure Vessel / Heavy Fabrication

Key Responsibilities
- Perform pressure vessel inspection and stage-wise quality control activities.
- Conduct raw material inspection and review Material Test Certificates (MTCs).
- Review Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Qualification documents.
- Monitor welding and fabrication activities to ensure quality compliance.
- Coordinate with customers and Third-Party Inspection (TPI) agencies during inspections.
- Prepare, maintain, and submit quality documentation and final dossiers.
- Handle Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), punch points, and corrective actions.
- Possess a basic understanding of ASME Section VIII, Section IX,



and U Stamp requirements.
- Support customer audits and ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in pressure vessel manufacturing or heavy fabrication industries.
- CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of MTCs, WPS/PQR, and welding inspection practices.
- Basic understanding of ASME codes and U Stamp requirements.
- Robust documentation, communication, and coordination skills.
